About Delaware
The United States Pony Clubs, Inc., develops character, leadership, confidence and a sense of community in youth through a program that teaches the care of horses and ponies, riding and mounted sports.
Delaware Pony Club, part of the Delmarva Region, is centered on the state borders of Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland. Dating back to 1959, Delaware is the longest-established Delmarva Pony Club and is one of the earliest chartered clubs in the nation. Membership fluctuates but we have had members of all ages, from elementary to adults. Delaware members are active at the club, regional, and national levels and we focus on a fun environment, basing our activities on the current goals of our members. Club activities include mounted and unmounted meetings, rallies and rally preparation, volunteer opportunities, and regionally led schooling and educational opportunities. Important qualities such as horsemanship, knowledge and practical skills, land conservation, leadership, and mentorship are fostered in our members.

USPC Pony Clubs and Riding Centers are assigned to one of 41 geographical regions, which are administered by a volunteer Regional Supervisor (RS) and other appointed and elected officers. Regions offer additional activities and opportunities for members and support for the club and center leaders under their administration.
